o The weather yesterday morning was threatening but the sun shone throughout the day and conditions were pleasant. The weather to-day was fine and sunny after showers during the night. The maximum temperature was 57.3 degrees. There was a very light north--west breeze in the morning, changing to south-west in the afternoon. The barometer is rising slowly and now registers 29.90 in.
