RAILWAY NOTIFICATIONS U B W ZEALAND RAILWAYS DAFFODIL DAY AT LAWRENCE On SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, a special passenger train for Lawrence will leave Dunedin at 8.30 a.m. and arrive Lawrence 11.17 a.m. Return tram will leave Lawrence at 4.30 p.m. and arrive Dunedin 7.23 p.m. Return fare from Dunedin 4s second class, 6s first class. Correspondingly cheap fares from Caversham, Green Island, Mosgiel, Milton, and Waitahuna, at which stations trains stop. Return tram also stops Kensington. Hot water will be provided free at the daffodil grounds at Wetherstones about one mile from Lawrence. / Corporation.buses will run from Anderson’s Bay (via M’Bride street and Cargill’s corner), -St. Clair, St. Kilda, Normanby, and Driver’s road (via Highgate and Ross street) at 8.0 a.m. to.connect with the train-from Dunedin. The Railway Road Motor Bus to connect with the 8.30 a.m. special from Dunedin will leave Port Chalmers 7.45 a.m., Sawyer’s Bay 7.52, St. Leonards 0.2, Burkes 8.6, Ravensbourne 8.13. arriving Dunedin 8.20 a.m. Bus for Port Chalmers will leave Dunedin at 7.30 p.m. (after arrival of return train from Lawrence).
