MAN'S UNUSUAL PET
The wind blew through the tree lops, the cradle rocked, and down fell baby Jack, as bonny a young crow as ever learned to caw. . . . He lay bleeding and helpless on the ground, surrounded by an excited huddle of children. And there he was found by Mr F. W. Strong, Middlesex, a park keeper. Mr Strong took Jack home, bandaged his hurts, allayed his terror, tempted him to eat titbits, and housed him in a shed. That was two months ago. " The shed door is now left open," said Mr Strong, in a recent interview, "but Jack won't leave, though he has been flying for a week. He follows me round like a dog.
