MIDDLE-WEIGHT PULL-OVER

WORLD’S RECORD ESTABLISHED (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND. August 12. At a special test last night at Scots Hall, under the auspices of the Auckland Weight-lifting Association, L. Hogan (list 41b) established a middleweight world's record for a pull-over at arm’s length with a lift of 145 Jib. compared with the previous record of 1401 b The Australian and New Zealand record was surpassed by H. Cleghorn (14st 4Jib) in the heavy-weight twohand military press, two-hand snatch, and two-hand clean and jerk with a lift of 30311 b. He won the Australasian Cup. Thirteen New Zealand records were also beaten.
