POLISH AEROPLANE
SOVIET GUARDS OPEN FIRE THE PILOT ARRESTED WARSAW, June 17. (Received June 18, at 5.5 p.m.) A Polish aeroplane participating in a competition, lost its bearings and flew over Soviet territory, where the frontier guards opened fire with machine guns, forcing the pilot down. He was arrested. The plane was badly damaged by bullets.
