A new sprint; fashion for men was shown at the Merchant Tailors’ monthly dinner at New York. The smart man is to wear coloured linen waistcoats with his single-breasted suits this spring and summer. This fashion has been approved by the society’s Style Committee and tailors express themselves as very gratified with it because it is in line with the new tendency towards brighter colours in men's clothes. A pale blue linen waistcoat. for instance, will be considered the proper thing to wear with n dark bine suit, and a tan linen waistcoat with brown or dark green suits.
