Sir, —Do you not think the Dunedin Fire Board might express itself a little differently lest it be misunderstood? Tinder the heading “Action” in the “Instructions to Shops/’ etc., there occurs this: “The brigade would sooner come and find the fire out than spend hours fighting it. —I am, etc., M. June 17.
