DISPOSAL OF CAR
CHARGE OF FALSE PRETENCES (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17. Charged with obtaining £l6O from Independent Motor Sales, Ltd., by falsely representing that a car in his possession was his own and unencumbered, James Lawrence Holden, aged 23, a mechanic, pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial. It is alleged that he disposed of a ear held on time payment, representing that he had paid cash for it.
