THE WEATHER
Dull weather was experienced early yesterday morning, but the sun broke through later and conditions generally were pleasant tor the greater part of the day. There was a cold breeze from the north-east in the afternoon. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND. April 29. The weather was cloudy and threatening to-day. A moderate north-west wind was blowing. Heavy showers were experienced early in the morning, and light rain occasionally afterwards. The barometer has been falling since midday yesterday. and now registers 29.95 in. WELLINGTON. April 29. The weather to-day was dull and misty with a light, steady rain for most of the time awd little or no wind. The minimum temperature last night was 48.1 deg and the maximum to-day 55.5 deg. CHRISTCHURCH, April 29. The weather to-day was overcast and wet. with a very light westerly in the morning. changing to light north-east in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 54.6. The barometer, after falling fast, registered 29.74 in to-night.
