THE WEATHER
There wag a slight breeze from the north-east yesterday, and the sun shone brightly for the greater part of the day. The barometer rose to 30.10 in. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, April 27. Fine, sunny weather with a very light, variable wind prevailed to-day. The barometer was steady at 30.00 inches after mid-day. WELLINGTON, April 27. The weather to-day was fair though mostly cloudy, with a light northerly breeze. The minimum temperature last night was 43.2 degrees, and the maximum to-day 57.8 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. The weather to-day was fine but rather cloudy, with a moderate east-north-cast breeze. The maximum temperature was 54 degrees. The barometer is rising slowly and now registers 30.07 inches.
