THE WEATHER

Bright sunshine and a light north-east wind were experienced in Dunedin yesterday. The barometer fell slightly about mid-day, but rose again during the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 63 degrees. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Tisies) AUCKLAND, March 19. Fine sunny weather prevailed to-day. The sky was clear and there was a light south-easterly wind. The conditions were mild. The barometer showed a rising tendency and registered 30.20 inches at 4 p.m. WELLINGTON, March 19. The weather was brilliantly fine with a moderate to fresh northerly wind. The maximum temperature was- 65.4 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH. March 19. The weather to-day was fine with a maximum temperature of 60.4 degrees. A fresh EI.N.E. breeze in the morning changed to easterly in the afternoon. The barometer, after falling, is now steady at 30.10 inches.
