A new glider, undergoing test flights in the West Riding of Yorkshire, has been designed at the Kirkbymoorside gliding factory by Mr F. Slingsby. Built for beginners, it is so simple in design that it can be assembled at home and rigged in 20 minutes. Nicotine got its name from Jean Nicot, the man who introduced tobacco into France.
