PIGEON FLYING
DUNEDIN HOMING CLUB Ashburton was the race point selected by the Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club for Saturday's race, in which 92 birds, representinc 10 lofts, were entered. The birds were liberated at 10.30 a.m., and the winner timed in at 2.42, homing with a clear lead of three and a-half minutes. The results are as follows: M. Anderson’s Bonnie Girl, 1007.2 .. 1 p. Harris's Logan Chief. 1051.2 .. .. 2 A. Goodman’s Cuddle, 1044.2 .. .. 3 A. Escmilant’s Faith, 070.7 .. .. 4 D. Harvey’s Barbara. 965.7 5 Next week llic elnb will compete in the New Zealand Federation's race for young birds.
