CAPE YORK DELAYED. The Union Company advises that the Cape York, from Pacific Coast porks, was delayed In working cargo at Lyttelton yesterday owing lo rain. She Is expected to sail to-night for Dunedin, where she should arrive to-morrow. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Scottish, en route from Halifax to Auckland, Wellington, and Australia, cleared Balboa on February 29. She Is due at Auckland on Alarch 28. THE AUSTRALIA STAR. The Blue Star Line has received advice that Its motor ship Australia Star Is to leave Townsville on Alarch 14 for Gisborne, where she Is duo on Alarch 19 to commence Homeward loading. THE CANADIAN VICTORS. Cabled advice has been received by Canadian National Steamships that the Canadian Victor left Halifax on Alarch 3 for Auckland, Wellington, and Australia. She is duo at Auckland on April 10. AIAAIARI AT OAAIARU. The Shaw, Savlll, and Albion steamer Alamarl arrived at Oamaru from London In ballast on Saturday to commence loading. Her other loading ports are Tlmaru, Gisborne, Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She Is to leave Lyttelton for Halifax (Nova Scotia) and London on Alarch 27. HURUNUI RADIOS. The Hurunul has radioed that she expecls to arrive at Auckland on Friday from England to load. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. ABEL TASMAN FROM SYDNEY, The Intercolonial steamer Abel Tasman arrived at Dnnedln yesterday afternoon from Lyttelton after a very rough trip. The vessel loft the Canterbury port on Saturday morning, and encountered stormy south-west weather and heavy seas all the way. She will discharge cargo from Sydney, and will then proceed to Wanganui and Greymouth to load for Sydney. ZEALANDIC FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion motor ship Zealandic is due at Port Chalmers from London, via Suva, on Alarch 14. After dlshargIng at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Tlmaru the vessel will load at Tlmaru, Bluff, Wellington, and Auckland for Dunkirk and London. With a cargo of phosphates from Antwerp, the 5000-ton freighter Anglo African put In at Wellington last Friday morning to discharge 1700 tons of her cargo, which amounted to 4500 tons. Some of It was discharged at Auckland. The Anglo African, which is commanded by Captain Ford, is the first of a number of phosphate vessels to call at Wellington. The Antigone Is at present at New Plymouth, and the Tymerlc Is discharging at Auckland. Neither of these ships, however, will call at Wellington. The Dalernoor is duo at Wellington early in April with a similar cargo, being due at New Plymouth on April 2. RECORD YEAR AT PORT OP LONDON. Ships to and from British ports during 1935 aggregated 349,577,851 net registered tons—an increase of 1.1 per cent, on 1934. The figures for the Port of London, 59,752,434 net registered tons, are the highest over recorded, and constitute a record for British ports. The figures for the other chief ports are as follows Liverpool, 33,233,099 net registered tons; Southampton, 25,004,035 ; Hull, 12,115,428; Manchester, 7,573,304 : Bristol. 7,091,650.
