The following Is the official weather forecast:— v An anti-cyclone Is centred east of ths South Island. A shallow depression is still located north of New Zealand, while another one 19 advancing across the south Tasman Sea. Indications are for: Winds—South-east to east in and north of Cook Strait, strong to gale force north of Kawhia and Napier; elsewhere light to moderate north-easterlies or northerlies predominating over the South Island and strong in the far south; later backing to southerlies. Seas—New Zealand Waters— Rough to high north of Gisborne and rough off-shore north or Kawhia; elsewhere slight to moderate, but rising about Foveaux Strait—Eastern Tasman Sea —East winds in the northern portion anti northerlies in the southern portion, force fresh to strong; with rather rough to rough seas. Weather—Rain at many places in the northern half of the North Island, witli some heavy falls in the far north and north-east; scattered rains developing also in the far south-west and Bouth; elsewhere fair to cloudy; temperatures milder. Holmdale, which arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington, was delayed by heavy southerly weather in Cook Strait. She is to sail tills evening for Wellington. Plcton and Wanganul, via ports. Breeze, which was delayed in the north owing to bad weather, is now due at Dunedin this morning. She is to sail to-night for Wellington. Picton and Wanganul, via ports. Karu is now due at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Wellington. She is to sail to-morrow evening for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via ports. Wingatui is due here to-day from Auckland, via ports. She is to sail to-morrow for Oamarti, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. Galo is due at Dunedln on Tuesday from northern ports. She will sail the same day for Wellington, Picton and Wanganul, via ports. Rata is due here to-morrow from Westport, via ports, to discharge coal and load general cargo. She is to sail on Monday for Westport and Greymouth. TARANAKI FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savlll Companys' motor ship Taranakl Is due at Dunedln to-morrow from Liverpool, via northern ports, to discharge Home cargo. She will sail about Tuesday for Australia to load for England. CAPE YORK FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company advfses that the Cape York is due at Dunedln on Sunday from the Pacific coast, via northern ports, to discharge Canadian and American cargo. She will sail early next week for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. lONIC CLEARS COLON. The lonic, which left Wellington on February 6 for the United Kingdom, cleared Colon on March 2. DORSET FOR LONDON. The Dorset left Wellington on Wednesday morning for London, via Panama. She is duo at London about April 4. RIGMOR CLEARS PORT SAID. The tanker Rigmor, which left tho Black Sea on February 9 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, left Port Said on February 16. DORIC STAR LEAVES BALBOA. The Blue Star Line has received cabled advice that the Doric Star cleared Balboa on March 1. She left Auckland on February 8 for London, via the Panama canal. HERTFORD TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Hertford will load at New Plymouth, Auckland, Wanganui, Wellington, Bluff and Port Chalmers. She is due at this port on March 27, and is scheduled to sail finally from Port Chalmers on March 30 for London and West of England ports, via Panama. WAIWERA THROUGH CANAL. The Waiwera, which left Lyttelton for Great Britain on February 13. left Colon last Monday afternoon. MAUI POMARE FROM ISLANDS. The Maui Pomarc is due back at Lyttelton on March 16 and at Wellington on March 17, from Nine and Apia. She will leavo Wellington again on March 24 for the Islands. PORT WAIKATO FROM SYDNEY. The motor ship Port Waikato arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Sydney, via Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge and load general cargo. The vessel sailed last night for Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarel, via ports. MAMARI LEAVES SYDNEY. The Mamari, which left London on January 18 for New Zealand in ballast, left Sydney on Monday morning. Her first port of call on the New Zealand coast will be Oamaru. where she Is due to-morrow, DALEMOOR FROM ANTWERP. The Dalemoor, which sailed from Antwerp on February 1 with fertilisers for discharge at New Zealand ports, is due at New Plymouth on April 2, and will later discharge at Wellington and Auckland. OAKBANK AT DUNEDIN. The motor ship Oakbank, having discharged a part cargo of phosphates from Nauru Island at the Ravensbourno wharf, was berthed at the Victoria wharf yesterday afternoon to complete discharge. MIRO WITH EXPLOSIVES. Messrs Dalgety and Co. advise that the auxiliary ketch Miro left Greymouth at noon yesterday for this port. She should arrive on Monday morning, and after discharging explosives in the Lower Harbour will como to Dunedin to load general cargo for Auckland. MARINE EXAMINATION RESULTS. The Waimana, which arrived at Auckland on Wednesday from London, via Sydney, is to sail to-day for Opua, Wahganui, Wellington and Port Chalmers to complete Homeward loading She is duo here on March 23, and is scheduled to sail finally from Port Chalmers on March 26 for Southampton and London, via Montevideo. The Waimana is due at Southampton about May 7. The Zealandic, from London, via Suva, is due at Port Chalmers or Dunedln on March 14. She will sail on March 17 for Lyttelton and Timaru to complete discharge. The vessel will load at Timaru, Bluff, Wellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on April 8 for Dunkirk and London, via Panama. The Zcalandic is due at London on May 11.
