ARBITRATION COURT
FIXTURES FDR SITTING ’ The Arbitration Court commenced its Dunedin sitting yesterday before his Honor Mr Justice Page, with whom were associated Messrs W. Cecil Prime, employers’ representative, and A. L, Monteith, workers’ representative. AWARD GRANTED. In the case of the Milburn Lime and Cement Workers’ dispute, Mr A. S. Cookson asked for an award in terms of the agreement placed before the court. His Honor said the agreement would be carefully looked into and an award made. FIXTURES. , t • ;'■ ■ Fixtures for the sitting were made as follows: — March 6.—Peake v. His Majesty the King, compensation claim. March 6.—Cairns v. Kaitangata Coal Company, Ltd., compensation claim; Agnew v. Traill, compensation claim. March 11.—Application to add parties to the Otago and Southland Bakers’ and Pastrycook’s Award; application to amend the Otago and Southland Baker.-*’ and Pastrycooks’ apprenticeship order; application for a consolidation of the plumbing and gasfltting industry apprenticeship order. The following cases were adjourned till next sitting of the court: —Fry v. His Majesty the King; Espie v. Kaitangata Coal Company, Ltd.; Gunn v. New Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd. (permission being granted for this ease to be brought up at the present sitting in the event of certain information being available).
