OPENING DATE MARCH 25 LEGISLATIVE MEASURES READY (Pee United Press Association) ~::. WELLINGTON, February 26. Parliament is to be opened on Wednesday, March 25, and will remain in session until the major Bills on the Government's policy programme have been put through. Making this announcement to-night, the Prime Minister, Mr M. J. Savage, said the Government will have its programme of legislative measures ready for the Rouse and there will be no delay in going straight ahead with' the work. " As already indicated," he said, " the session will go on until we have dealt with the principal bills implementing the most important part of the Government's and the Labour Party's policy.
