. Fine weather, with bright sunshine and a light south-west breeze., prevailed yesterday. The maximum I 'temperature - was 63. degrees. The barometer rose during the day, and registered 30.25 last evening. ' CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND. February ,26. A moderate southerly wind and fine Weather "but cloudy conditions were experienced to-day. The barometer was rising all day, and registered 29.90 in tonight. '•"••...••. WELLINGTON, February 26. The weather was overcast in the early part of the morning, and there was a shower of rain about 10.50. During most of the day, however, the weather was fine but cold .with a southerly gale blowing. The maximum temperature was 59.2 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, February 26. The weather was fine and sunny in Christchurch to-day. but a strong and cold south-west wind was blowing. The maximum temperature TVas 60.5 degrees. The barometer is rising slowly, and registered 30.21 in at 5 p.m.
