GREAT CROWDS AT OPENING

(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, February 18. (Received Feb. 19, at 5.5 p.m.)

The British Industries Fair was opened auspiciously in London and Birmingham, when 10,000 buyers from Home and overseas attended. Of this total 5057 visited the engineering and hardware section at Birmingham, providing the highest total for an opening day in the history of this section of the fair. Buyers from 28 foreign countries also inspected the exhibits at Olympia and White City during the day.
