CONFERENCE DATE ALTERED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 19. « The date of the -preliminary conference between the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. E. Parry) and the mayors of cities and boroughs, which were old provincial capitals, to devise plans for the celebration of New Zealand's centenary, has been deferred from February 26 to March 2. The alteration was made to meet the convenience of the mayors who will arrive in Wellington at the beginning of March en route to attend the Municipal Conference at Napier.
