MURDER OF A NATIVE
WHITE MAN CONVICTED (United Press Association) . (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) KABAUL, February 17. (Received Feb. 18, at 0.15 a.m.) Ludwig Schmidt was found guilty of the wilful murder of a native in the Sepik district and sentenced to death. This is understood to be the first conviction of a white man for wilful murder during the civil administration of the territory.
