Captain C. P. Jones, of the air liner Scylla, reported by wireless to Croydon recently a waterspout 2000 feet high, which was seen in the Channel, "va miles south-west of Beachy Head. Passengers had a view of the waterspout from the cabin windows for almost 10 minutes.
