A steam yacht, originally built for a prince, is to cruise round the world as a “ floating university.” There will be about 100 students on board men and women. They will attend regular qjasses in the ship during their world voyage. The yacht is the Hirondelle, built in France in 1911 for the late Prince of Monaco and chartered at one time by the former German Emperor. For tho past three years she has been laid up at Providence, Rhode Island. Now she has been chartered by the University Travel Association of New York. After the necessary refit, the Hirondelle will sail from New York in February on a voyage that will take her to ports in all parts of the world.
