WEATHER BEFOBT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 10. The following is the official weather report at 4 p.m. „, y Bar. Ther.

PORT HOBART FROM NEW TORE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motor ship Port Hobart arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Philadelphia, New York and Kingston (Jamaica), via Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf, where the remainder of her American cargo is being discharged. The Port Hobart, which is also loading products, is to sail to-day for New Plymouth to continue Homeward loading. KING MALCOLM WITH ASPHALT. The British motor ship King Malcolm arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Tampico (Gulf of Mexico) via Panama canal and northern ports. She was berthed at the Rattray street wharf to discharge a part cargo of asphalt. The vessel left Tampico on September 19, and arrived at Auckland on October 26, discharging part cargo there and at Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth,. Lyttelton an'd Timaru. The vessel was delayed at Wellington for about two. weeks to undergo engine repairs. From this port the King Malcolm will go to Bluff to complete discharge. TANKER NEW ZEALAND. Having discharged the Dunedin portion of her cargo of bulk motor spirit from San Pedro, the tanker New Zealand sailed yesterday afternoon for Sydney .to complete discharge. CHATHAM ISLANDS SERVICE. The steamer Tees is to leave Lyttelton on December 14 for the Chatham Islands, calling at Waitangi, Owenga, Kaingaroa and Pitt Island. She will return to Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel will then lay up at Lyttelton until about January 7. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advises that on December 16 the fixed green light on the end of the breakwater in Oaraaru Harbour will be altered to flashing white every three seconds, thus: Plash, o.3sec, eclipse 2.7se'c. The new light, like the existing one, will have an uninterrupted arc of visibility and be exhibited in all weathers. PASSENGERS PROM AUSTRALIA. Advice has been received that an exceptionally large number of passengers have booked from Sydney to Auckland by the Matson Line steamer Monterey, which is due at the northern port on December 17. Bookings are also fairly heavy for through passengers to America. ... TATNUI'S PASSENGERS. Triona. COASTWISE MOYEMEXTS. Wainui, which arrived yesterday morning from Bluff, sailed last night for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. She is due back at this port on December 22, and will undergo annual survey at Port Chalmers. Holmdale is due at Dunedin this morning from Wellington, and will sail to-night for Wellington, Picton and .Wanganul, via ports. Breeze Is due here to-morrow from Wellington, and will sail to-morrow evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. Waimarino is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due at this port on December 18. Holmglen is due at Dunedin on Friday from Wellington, and is timed to sail the same day for New Plymouth and Port Walkato, via ports. WORK AT THE DOCK. The dredge Otakou, having completed her overhaul, will resume dredging in the Upper The Bluff Harbour Board's dredge Murihiku Is expected at Port Chalmers shortly for dockIn" and overhaul. The dock keel blocks are being altered to suit the requirements of the dredge. KARTIGI FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company's Kartigi, from Adelaide, Edithburg, Geelong and Melbourne, left Auckland on Monday for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth to complete discharge. She is due at Dunedin on baturday.
