THE KAIPARA SEAT

NO CHANGE IN FIGURES MR COATES UNLIKELY TO LOSE (Per United Press association) DARGAVILLE, November 30. There has been no alteration in the figures for the Kaipara electorate since the night of the election, when Mr Coates had 4427 votes and Mr Grounds 4219. There are still approximately 700 postal and absentee votes to be counted. These will not be touched till the official count commences on Monday morning. The final result is not expected till Wednesday, and it is considered that the result of the election will not be altered by the recount.
