ALLEGED CAR CONVERSION

FIRST CASE UNDER AMENDED ACT (Pee United Peess Association) AUCKLAND, November 30. The seqtiel to an exciting chase in Carlton Gore road and George street was the appearance in court this morning of Neil Charles Clifford Crouch, aged 21, a labourer, charged with unlawfully converting a car valued at £3OO. He was remanded till Friday. Crouch is the first man to be arrested on a conversion charge since the passing of the Police Offences Act Amendment at the recent session. It contains far-reach-ing amendments.
