MARRIED FOR 72 YEARS

It is claimed by Mr and Mrs James Hills, of St. Mary's road, Faversham. Kent, that they have been married longer than any other couple in Britain. They recently celebrated the seventy-second an oiversary of their wedding, which took place at Marylebone in 1863. Mr Hills '8 93 and his wife 92, and both are in the best of health. They were both born in Faversham. For 60 years Mr Hills worked on the railway. They have five sons and three daughters. Their eldest son is 70 years of age, but he is still "my lad" to his father.
