EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
An unusually interesting exhibition of aerial and other photographs, many of which have been taken by the infra-red process, is at- present being shown in the Somerset Lounge, Savoy Building. This exhibition, which aims at promot-ingair-mindedncss” among those who havd not yet experienced the pleasures and advantages of modem air transport, is qn loan from Imperial Airways, Ltd., and The Times. London, and is under the charge of Messrs A. Crawford and R. Sherriff, who provide interesting explanatory remarks covering the 200 odd ’photographs and several scale models of aircraft included in the exhibition. The photographs, all of which are masterpieces of photographic art, cover interesting features of the route between England and Australia served by the Imperial Airways planes, the infra-red exhibit reproducing with striking clarity the topographical features of the country Provision has been made for visits of 100 secondary school boys to the exhibition each day this week, affording an excellent opportunity for a stimulation of interest in air services as well as in geography.
