"HALLOWE'EN "

Tlie Dunedin Burns Club will hold, its Hallowe'en revel in His Theatre on Saturday evening next. The quaint customs and games will be revived and the Scottish songs and stories should delight everyone. " Granny " has invited "her friends and neighbours" to hold their Hallowe'en in "her kitchen," and the lads and lassies will be eager to spend a happy night. An exceptionally fine programme has been prepared and the names of the following artists should be sufficient guarantee of the quality of the entertainment: —Misses Dorothy Mackay, Margaret Murray, Leonora M'Kenzie, Messrs' Arthur Lungley, W. H. Mackenzie, James Paterson, G. Currie, George Wiseman, and Ted Heaney. Variety will be added by the presence of a reel party and the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band. The box plans are at Begg's and early booking is advised.
