The weather yesterday was fine and pleasant, with bright sunshine and a light north-east wind. The maximum temperature was 05 degrees. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, October 21. .Summer conditions prevailed to-day, the weather being fine and sunny. A moderate northerly breeze was blowing. The barometer was steady at 30.15 inches after mid-day. WELLINGTON, October 21. It was a brilliantly fine day with a light to moderate north-westerly wind prevailing. The maximum temperature to-dav was 00.4 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, October 21. The weather to-daytwas fine and sunny, with a strong east-north-east breeze. Th® maximum temperature was 59.8 degrees. The barometer was steady at 29.98 inches.
