A percentage of nought point five of alcohol in the blood, or one drop of alcohol in 500 drops of blond, puts, a person in a condition of coma or 'dead drunk.'" Addressing the National Temperance League's annual breakfast, held to-day in conjunction with the B.M.A. Conference, Mr W. M'Adam Ecelcs, on« of England's most foremost surgeons, made those statements.
