Mistletoe has no romantic associations for farmers and landowners at Manna, New South Wales. This parasite has increased enormously during the past 20 vears and it is sucking the life out of large numbers of valuable trees. Many trees have already died, , while hundreds of oUiers have had to be cut down, this being considered the only means of checking the pest.
