FRASER'S BUSH
TO THE EDITOR.
Sie, —In reply to the letter in Tuesday's issue of your paper in which " New Zealander" suggests that the Dunedin Naturalists' Field Club should take up the matter of the proposed road through Fraser's Gully and the destruction of the native bush in our city reserves, I wish to say that on Monday evening at a meeting of the club these matters were brought before the members for discussion, and it was resolved that the Dunedin Naturalists' Field Club should protest against the construction of a motor road through Fraser's Gully and the destruction of native bush on the Town Belt and other city reserves. Probably by this time copies of these resolutions have been forwarded to the City Coun-
cil. —I am, etc., KOWHAI. Dunedin, September 12. [We are informed that it is not intended by the City Council to construct a motor road through Fraser's Bush. —Ed. O.D.T.]
