ARRANGEMENTS FOR MEETING i {British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 23. (Received August 25, at 5 5 p.m.) Arrangements are now complete for a meeting \>f the British Association at Norwich from September 4 to 11, for which a large number of visitors, .u----cluding many from overseas, are expected. The association met last in Norwich in 1868. The professor of geology at Imperial College, London (Dr W W Watts), will deliver the presidential address on the form, drift, and rhythm of continents in celebration of the '■cltenary of the landing of Charles Darwin on Galapagos -Island. Zoologists' will discuss species ’n the light of modern knowledge. The economic science section has a programme of topical interest. including papers on economics, nationalism, and foreign trade, financial and economic' results of State control of agriculture, and will attempt to set out the chronology of the world crisis. This section also will interest itgelf in many social problems in relation to the standards of life. Other items bearing on current problems will be the study of causes of skidding on roads and exhibitions of scientific aids to management in industry.
