PRICES GENERALLY FIRMER FAT CATTLE There was an average yarding of 220 fat cattle forward, consisting principally of medium to prime bullocks, with a few trucks of extra well-finished cattle and an unusually email percentage of cows and heifers. The sale opened firm at last week's opening values, but as it progiessed a noticeable firming tendency for bullocks was shown, with prices advancing fl per head, this rate being maintained until the finish.
