A Lincoln tradesman had a shock when a passer-by informed him that a stuffed pigeon in his window was alive. He looked, and sure enough it moved. Investigation proved that the bird had been hollowed out, and a mouse’s nest made inside! Advertising is accepted as a necessary nart of modern business promotion. It has won a place for itself in virtually everv industry. Rightly directed and prepared, advertising has proved that it can return a profit to the advertiser. But advertising should always be consideied as a business enterprise, and not as a magic formula for unearned success.
