POWER BOARD NOTICES yyjJTAKI ELECTRIC POWER PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN. RETICULATION EXTENSION LOAN, 1935—£17,000. In the matter of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and “ The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925,” and Amendments thereto, the Waitaki Electric Power Board Hereby Gives Notice that such Board proposes for the purposes herein mentioned to Raise by Loan Poll on Gth AUGUST, 1935, a Special Loan of £17,000. at a rate of interest not exceeding £3 10s per centum per annum, for a term not exceeding twenty-five years, and to provide a Sinking Fund of £2 10s per centum per annum. Purposes: Construction of additional transmission and distribution lines and sub-etations, purchasing and erection of all necessary equipment therefor, and generally to exercise all the powers as may be deemed expedient under the authority of the above-named Acts. The proposed security is to be a Special Annually Recurring Rate of One-twentieth Pence in the £ on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all Rateable Property in the Waitaki Electric Power District.
