THE BROADCASTING SERVICE
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —I am highly amused at your correspondent " Satisfied," and his letter speaks for his mentality. I never criticised the sports talks and news sessions, so why talk of an uncalled for exaggeration of the facts? I appreciate them just as much as " Satisfied" does. If " Satisfied " wants .the criticism of our broadcasting service to stop, then why butt in with the stupid remark. "I would recommend dissatisfied listeners to cut out their radios and revert to the gramophone"? Is he aware that the main part of the music he listens to is records, also that there are far better programmes from "Aussie"? So that because I am not so easily pleased as "Satisfied" there is no need to dispose of the radio just because I don't see eye to eye with him, and am not satisfied with what is turned on by 4YA.—I am, etc., One of Many.
