(Received June 25, at 11 p.m.) On the suggestion of Rajendra Prasad, President of the National Congress, June 30 will be observed as a day of mourning throughout India for the Quetta earthquake victims. This week the Viceroy and Field-marshal Sir Philip Chetwode, commander-in-chief of the army, will travel by aeroplane from Simla to Quetta, and spend two days there.
