CARS IN COLLISION

PLAINTIFF AWARDED DAMAGES (Special to Daily Times) GORE, June 25. The sequel to a collision between two cars near Wairuna on June 7, 1934, was heard in the Magistrate's Court to-day. Lengthy evidence was given before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M. Harriet Moore (Tapanui) proceeded against the Woolston Tanneries, Ltd. (Christchurch), for £49 17s damages. Nicholas Moore, husband of the plaintiff, was driving plaintiff's car at th» time of the accident, and John Bruce was driving the defendant's car. The accident occurred at the top of a rise in the road. Judgment was entered for plaintiff for £39 17s and £l2 16s 6d costs.
