PALMERSTON COLLIE CLUB (Fhom Cur Own Correspondent.i PALMERSTON, May S. The sixteenth annual trials of the Palmerston Collie Club commenced yesterday. Although the day was cold, there was a good attendance of spectators. The programme was opened with the Open and Maiden Heading event. The following arc the results:OPEN HEADING EVENT. For bringing back and yarding, about a quarter of a mile; time allowed, 10 minutes. J. Donald's Lamm Won, 39 points .. 1 W. Sutherland's Mate, 38J points .. 2 J. M'Gregor's Lloyd, 37i points .. 3 Also competed: G. P. Johnstone's Won 37, A. M'Kenzie's Yaro Mack 36J, J. Rawcliffe's Rock and Jude, W. S. Thompson's Sweep, A. M'Gregor's Tara Mack, R. W.
