SHEEP DOG TRIALS

PALMERSTON COLLIE CLUB (Fhom Cur Own Correspondent.i PALMERSTON, May S. The sixteenth annual trials of the Palmerston Collie Club commenced yesterday. Although the day was cold, there was a good attendance of spectators. The programme was opened with the Open and Maiden Heading event. The following arc the results:OPEN HEADING EVENT. For bringing back and yarding, about a quarter of a mile; time allowed, 10 minutes. J. Donald's Lamm Won, 39 points .. 1 W. Sutherland's Mate, 38J points .. 2 J.
