“AUTUMN FIRE”

To-night and on Wednesday and Thursday evenings Mr Russell-Wood will present the Playbox Players in T. C. Murray’s powerful Irish play, “Autumn Fire.” The performances will be given in the club’s Little Theatre in Jamieson’s Buildings, and will be greatly enhanced by specially painted scenery and unusual lighting effects. The cast is an interesting one and includes Miss Nell Warren, a player who promises to give a very good account of herself in the leading character, and Mr Prank Lanyon, who has been entrusted with a part filled with great possibilities. Supporting roles will be taken by Mrs J. L. Anderson, Miss Leila Greenall and Miss Mollie O’Sullivan and Messrs Derrick Hancock, John Green, and Leo Macning. The plan for the season is now on view at Miss A. C. Barnett’s (next Stewart Dawson’s), where programmes may be obtained.
