The Waikoualtl sailed on Saturday afternoon for Timaru and Lyttelton to discharge the remainder of her cargo from Australia. She will then proceed to Bluff, Sydney and Newcastle. The vessel will load at Newcastle about May 21 and Sydney on May 23 for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton.

INDIEN FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company advises that the chartered motor ship Indien is now due at Dunedin on Wednesday from the Pacific coast, via northern ports. After discharging Canadian and American cargo, she will sail for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. HURUNUI FROM LIVERPOOL. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunul arrived on Saturday afternoon from Liverpool, via Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton, and was berthed at tho Victoria wharf to discharge Home cargo. The vessel left Liverpool on February 17, and reached Auckland on April 3. The Hurunul will load at Dunedin, Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Napier. She Is scheduled to sail finally from Napier on May 28 for London. THE CITY OF KIMBERLEY. From New York aiid Newport News, via Panama, Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, the steamer City of Kimberley arrived at Dunedin on Saturday morning. The vessel, which is under charter to the A. and A. Line, was berthed at the Rattray street wharf to discharge American cargo. The City of Kimberley is to sail to-morrow for Sydney to complete discharge. RANGITANE LEAVES CRISTOBAL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rangitane, which sailed 'from Auckland on April 13 for London, left Cristobal on May 2. ORMONDE FROM LONDON. The Orient liner Ormonde arrived at Fremantle on April 30 from London. She Is due at Sydney on Wednesday. KARETU FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Karetu, from Newcastle and Sydney, left Port Kembla last Tuesday for Hobart to complete loading for Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. She was to clear Hobart on Saturday. THE CANADIAN BRITISHER. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Britisher, en . route from Halifax, Is now due at Auckland on May 10 and at Wellington on May 14. She will later discharge and load at Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. . GREYMOUTH HARBOUR BEACONS. The Marine Department advises that tho experimental beacons on each side of the front white beacon in Grcymouth Harbour has been discontinued for navigational use. They will, however, be occasionally exhibited for sounding purposes. TAMAROA AT SOUTHAMPTON. The Tamaroa, which left Wellington on March 29 for Southampton and London, via Panama, reached Southampton on the morning of May 1. PERSONAL. Captain B. B. Irwin has taken over tho command of the Wahlne. SLOOP WELLINGTON. . The new sloop H.M.S. Wellington is expected to arrivo at Wellington about May 13 from Sydney. TANKER LACKLAN. Tho Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Lacklan arrived on Saturday from Palembang, via Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. Sho was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge bulk motor spirit. The Lacklan sailed yesterday for San Francisco. MATAROA TO LOAD. The Shaw, Savlll Company advises that the Mataroa, at present at Lyttelton, is duo at Timaru on Wednesday, and at Port Chalmers on May 11 to continue Homeward loading. She will sail on May 13 for Auckland and Wellington, and is to clear the latter port at 5 p.m. on May 24 for Southampton and London, via Panama and Curacao. The Mataroa Is due at London on June 20. MAHIA i ARRIVES FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahia arrived yesterday from Liverpool, via Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the George street wharf. Port Chalmers where the local portion of her Home cargo will lie discharged. Tho vessel sailed from Liverpool on March 9 and arrived af Auckland on April 19. The Mahia will complete discharge at Timaru. She will then load at Timaru, Oamaru, Port Chalmers (May 15), Wellington and Auckland. The Mahia is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on May 25 for Southampton and London, via Panama canal and Kingston.
