Twenty beggars formed a busineea-iike organisation at Moravska Ostrava, in Czechoslovakia. They divided the town into " beats," one to each beggar, to prevent over-lapping, " pooled " the money they got, and bought a motor car. Their leader drove parties of them to various towns in the district, and each party then " worked " the place. There is no theatre, no music hall, and no kinema in the actual city of London.
