LATEST REGISTRATIONS DECREASE ON LAST YEAR (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 5. The report of the Unemployment Board on the registrations of unemployed as at April 13, 1935, indicates that the slight increase revealed by the last report has been maintained during the period at present under review. The present total of 50,743 reveals an increase of 398 on the corresponding figure recorded last month. ,

The number in receipt of part-time employment under scheme No. 5 or on susteninci; in lieu of relief work as al April 13 was 33,500 compared with 34,219 on April 14, 1934—a decrease of 719. The number in full-time employment, but assisted by wages subsidies from the Unemployment Fund, was 17,243 on the same date compared with 27,583 a year ago—a decrease of 10,340. This mi'kes the total number who ar... a charge on the Unemployment Fund 50,743 as compared with 61,802 a year ago—a total reduction of 11,059. LOCAL RELIEF ACTIVITIES GROUPS TO REPORT.
