ARBITRATION COURT

NEW PRESIDENT APPOINTED ELEVATION OF MR E. PAGE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. Mr E. Page, S.M., of Wellington, has been appointed president of the Arbitration Court. It is understood that he will take over his duties at Palmerston North next week. Mr Edward Page was born in Wellington in 1877, and was educated at Wmlington College. He studied for the legal profession and practised in Eketahuna from 1903 till 1912, when he was appointed a stipendiary magistrate in Wellington. Mr Page was Mayor of Eketahuna from 1909 till 1912, and has also acted as chairman of several commissions of inquiry.
