MAORI TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA UNIVERSITY TOUR NOT FAVOURED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. A decision that a Maori team would definitely tour Australia, leaving New Zealand about July 12, was made by the Management Committee of-the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night. The New Zealand Universities Rugby Council was recommended to postpone the proposed tour of Australia in May until next year. The following reinstatements were approved: —G. Moore, M. Moore, W. M'Kay (Christchurch), J. Berwick (Banks Peninsula), V. Robson (Taranaki), C. Thompson (Patea), D. MTlroy, C. Shivnan, W. O’Brien, W. Wyatt, H. Leach, S. Purnell, G. Stuart, J. Elliott, K. Drury, L. Goodwin (Wellington), J. Hawkins, N. Griffiths, C. Dawson, W. Nelson, P. Brewer (Hawke’s Bay), D. Brown, M. West, J. Poland, A. Powlesland (Auckland), P. Bourke, F. Collins (Stratford).
