PROTRACTED LITIGATION
COLLISION CASE BEFORE APPEAL COURT. (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 13. The Appeal Court is to-day considering for the second time the facts of a collision which occurred near Eltham in 1933 between a ear driven by Harold Jessop and a motor cycle on which the appellant, George William Bourke, of Eltham, a slaughterman, was pillion riding. Bourke subsequently sued Jessop for damages, and in June, 1933, was awarded £465. On the matter being referred to the Appeal Court the court ordered a new trial, which was heard in February, 1934, when a jury found for the respondent. From this decision appellant is now appealing.
