LAWN TENNIS
THE AMATEUR STATUS PLAYERS AND FILMS PARIS, March 12. (Received March 13, at 5.5 p.m.) The French Lawn Tennis Federation Council empowered its representatives on the International Federation to oppose a Czechoslovakian proposal to permit amateurs to make films. The Dutch and German Federations oppose the proposal as against the amateur ideal, but express the opinion that a lengthier discussion is necessary.
