NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March IS. Lieutenant-colonel Du Pre (England) beat R. Poulter (England) by 26—3 in the Men’s Championship Singles at the New Zealand croquet tourney. No final is necessary, Du Pre having won both lives against the others in the other game* in which the visitors figured level. In the Singles, Mrs Kebblewhito (Hamilton) beat Miss E. Washer (Patea) 26—21. In the Championship Doubles, Du Pro and Mrs Corbet beat H. P, Stratton (Hawke’s Bay) and Mrs M'Murray 26—1, Ward-Petley (England) and Miss Skett beat Mesdames Kebblewhite and Hawken (Hamilton) 26—10, and Captain Hartnell (New Plymouth) and Mrs Caldow beat G. Mouat and Mrs Mouat (Hutt) 26—11.
